About Us
Blau Diamond Reserves was conceptualized by Hendrie Hattingh and his wife Shirley. The Hattingh couple labor tirelessly for the development of the African continent - their passion is orphans and widows (the powerless). Together Mr. Hattingh and his wife had the privilege of being on the guest list of dignitaries and numerous television hosts and celebrities.

Hendrie Hattingh
South African Industrialist Philanthropist and visionary. His creative and pioneering spirit saw him launch several successful ground-breaking projects in the areas of technology, arts & culture, information technology and telecommunication.

He was part of the preparation for the third cellular licence technology in South Africa, heading presentations to international boards with the likes of Ericsson, FBS and Saudi Oger. His interest in humanitarian development and understanding of political vs. commercial climate had placed him on the VIP list of dignitaries and officials since (2000). from the union buildings, Pretoria to the launch of the Samora Machel museum.

Shirley Hattingh
Serves on the board of Directors drawing from her dual background in commerce and humanitarian issues. In addition, her frank and unconventional approach to business is a breath of fresh air, which has served the business interests of BDR & Norange successfully in the past years.
